ABOUT CHARROW CHAROLAIS

While our ancestors have been connected to the prairie landscape for generations, our commitment to raising Charolais began more recently with Charles Leslie "Les" Row (pictured above). In 1965, Les purchased his first Charolais bull - a decision that provided the foundation for a purebred herd and our family's livelihood. Today, Charrow Charolais is three generations strong and takes pride in supporting both our [grand]father's legacy and the Canadian beef industry.

Over these past sixty years, we have grown with our cattle in knowledge and experience. Regular vaccination protocols, scheduled semen testing, and two-stage weaning are but a few practices we follow to ensure animal welfare. As you peruse our site, however, you may notice that one technique we have yet to master is any semblance of photography skills. We therefore encourage interested producers to stop by and see in person what all our ranch has to offer. At best, you will leave with a new herd sire, and at least, a friendly conversation over a cup of coffee.
